Interior Inspiration: Meg Ryan

Meg Ryans beautiful home located on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard is an simplistically styled home, with vintage features like old oak tables, sliding barn wood doors, and glossy black floorboards. You could say the house is completely whitewashed (my kinda style), however you will find the neutral and poppy colors shine through small characteristics of the home. Simply rich and stunning.

As a teen, my family had a house on Martha's Vineyard and I spent my summers their in the sweet boat towns, with lovely natured locals, fresh lobster, and beautiful sunsets.

A stunning entryway executes extension with the mirrored back wall, and beautifully picked wild flowers on a round table. Also the sliding barn door, which is not the only one in this house, really adds to the casual and coastal decor of this home.

The pendant lights are by  O’Lampia Studio, and the slipcovered chairs are by Summer Hill fabrics. I love the rusted flowers sign hung above one of the doorways, and the very chic wrought iron finish's around the window and door frames.

Slip covered chairs by Summer Hill fabrics are centred around a marble topped square table. Perfect for a girls night in, some wine, and blackjack.

Blue stone which is utilized both in this pantry and as a countertop in the bathroom. This bluestone is not of that used at Stone Henge in England, it is instead a type of sandstone which is located in quarries around Pennsylvania and New York. It is extremely durable and very elegant looking for any space.

With stainless steel appliances, this kitchen adorns a vintage Oak island and black cabinetry, again opened up by the use of natural light. Stunning!

Again we spy a gorgeous sliding barn door that opens to the bathroom. The bed you can find at  Herrick & White, and it is dressed with vintage sheets. I love that pop of lavender purple, it really adds to the femininity of the space.

This white washed room have indulgent egyptian cotton sheets atop of a Pottery Barn bed, and natural light pours in the windows which are decorated with linen Roman blinds.

A gorgeous vintage styled bath is accented with mosaic tile, and steel hardware finish's like the stunning window frame.

The countertops made with blue stone helps store a soapstone basin, with pendant lighting above by LooLoo Design.
