Get the Look.

With New Years coming up it is time to get out those fabulous party dresses! Earlier in this year I purchased this gorgeous emerald green Blaque Label dress for a trip to Las Vegas. It is absolutely stunning on! Other celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian, and Emma Roberts have also worn this dress, and both colors look fabulous on them. This dress is available to buy at Lulu's, as well as other online merchants. This NYE I will be ringing in the new year in a different dress that I shall show you in my next post. Ciao for now!

Absinthe

Necklace: House of Harlow,Jumpsuit: ASOS, Clutch: gift, Shoes: Qupid

Bracelet blue leather with studs: Target, Bangle: Forever 21, Clutch: Gift

Last night we went to a great bar named Absinthe. It was very euro chic, and cosmopolitan-esque, and I loved its contemporary style fused with colors of lime greens and whites. I had the cucumber martini and it was very refreshing after a long day. Here are pictures of what I wore last night along with pictures of the bar! If your ever in the South West Florida region you should check it out.

P.S Sorry about the poor quality of my photos I only had my phone on me!

Nails!

I have a slight obsession with my nails unfortunatly! And whilst sitting by the poolside I realised that one of my nails was beginning to chip, that meant they all had to come off and time for a new color! My go to color for nails is a light white-pinkish color. I love it because it creates a very clean just-manicured look and its a great neutral for any outfit. Also it looks fab with a tan, so I decided to go for it. I do have a nail ritual, which I am willing to share, however if your going to do it make sure its in this order. We will start right after the step of removing your old nail polish, and you have buffed and used an emory board for shaping. xx

1. Essie 'All In One Base'- Protecting base coat, helps to strengthen nails with enriched vitamins, and creates a smooth layer on the nails for your polish coats to be painted onto

2. My favorite nail color by Essie, Allure. Gives a gorgeous shiny pink clean looking color.

3. Liquid Palisade by Kiesque- Gods miracle for nails. Apply this laquer around your nails and surrounding nails after you have applied your color. It will help any bleeding or mistakes dry and peel right off giving that just manicured look, even if you did it yourself! Liquid Palisade

4. Essie 'No Chips Ahead'- Chip free top coat, works miracles, and lasts a good week and a half.

Penguin Classics

How sweet are these editions of the Penguin Classics?! The books includes classic reads such as Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, and many more! Not only would they make great little accessories for any bookshelf, but they would be perfect in a guest bedroom as a read for any visitors passing through. Love them!

Exposed Brick...

One of my absolute favorite elements that can be exposed in a house, is the use of an old beat up rustic brick wall. Its timeless qualities can really display a buildings history and emphasize its uses over the years. A brick wall can be a key aspect of really making a room feel cozy and lived in. Used as a back drop for a bed, or to hang contemporary works of art, it can really apply to any given design style.

I particularly love the idea of implementing contemporary pieces with natural woods and chrome appliances, with pops of fresh colors dotted around the room. A more romantic way of accessorizing an exposed brick wall is to use softer neutral colors, with drapey linen curtains, burlap throw pillows, reclaimed woods with rubbed steel fixings and rustic tonal elements. An antique chandelier can make the room, giving it a really authentic, old feel, while displaying a warm array of light.
